Willst Du im Namen Deines Fachvereins oder als Privatperson eine Party schmeissen? Wirf einen Blick in den Vermietungsplan und schaue, ob das LochNess an Deinem gewünschten Datum noch frei ist. Melde Dich danach bei unseren Vermietungsverantwortlichen und kläre alles Weitere mit ihnen.

Das LochNess bietet durch seine vielfältige Ausstattung die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Events wie Partys, Apéros, Filmabende, Konzerte und eine ganze Bandbreite an anderen Events zu gestallten.

Die wichtigste Bedingung dabei ist, dass Du in irgendwelcher Form mit der ETH in Verbindung stehst (Student, Mitarbeiter, Alumni oder Angehöriger).

Der ganze Spass kostet Dich dabei nur 350-500 CHF. Dies kommt darauf an, ob Du zusätzlich noch einen TAB benötigst oder nicht. Genau wie bei den anderen Veranstaltungsräumen an der ETH muss, je nach Grösse & Dauer Deines Events, ein technisch-administrativer Betreuer mit entsprechender Ausbildung Deine Veranstaltung betreuen. Dieser TAB kontrolliert, dass die Lärmemission in einem bestimmten Rahmen bleiben und meldet mögliche Sachbeschädigungen fachgerecht den entsprechenden Stellen.

Die Ausbildung zum TAB findet jeweils an ausgewählten Abenden zu Semesterbeginn statt und dauert 30-45 Minuten. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Handhabung der Musikanlagen sowie die Dokumentation von Sachbeschädigungen. Ziel ist es, Lärmemissionen gering zu halten und im Falle von Sachbeschädigungen eine klare Kommunikation zwischen den involvierten Parteien zu garantieren. Prinzipiell kann jeder diese Ausbildung absolvieren, jedoch empfehlen wir gerade für Fachvereine, ihre Kultis bzw. Aktivitätenverantwortlichen dort hinzuschicken, da die Kosten des TAB vollständig vom Mieter übernommen werden müssen. Interesse an der TAB-Ausbildung? Anhand des Mietpreis-Kalkulators kannst Du ermitteln, welchen finanziellen Aufwand Du für die Miete haben wirst. Die Lohnkosten für den TAB betragen pauschal 50CHF und ab 24.00 Uhr weitere 25CHF/Stunde, denke daran, dass diese Kosten auch vom Mieter getragen werden müssen, sofern kein eigener TAB gestellt werden kann. Auch wenn Du zusätzliches Equipment wie Beamer, Mikrofon oder Beerpongtische dazubuchen möchtest, kannst Du dies dort angeben. Gib doch bitte direkt bei der Kontaktaufnahme mit den Vermietungsvorständen an, was Du alles benötigst. Bei der Lokalübergabe vor Ort können wir keine Wünsche mehr erfüllen. Beachte auch, dass Du Getränke und Essen selbst organisieren musst.

Für die Räumlichkeiten und vor allem die ganze Ausstattung ziehen wir bei der Übergabe eine Kaution von 150 CHF ein. Falls am Ende des Abends alles noch vorhanden und funktionsfähig ist, bekommst Du diese natürlich zurück. Für weiteres Equipment kann sich die Kaution erhöhen. Bitte beachte auch, dass wie im Falle von Lärmbeschwerden von der ETH dazu angehalten sind, die Kaution nicht vollumfänglich zu Rückerstatten. Die Kaution wird nach Deinem Event innerhalb von ca. 3 Wochen per IBAN zurücküberwiesen, dies kann leider nicht mehr direkt bei der Schlüsselrückgabe geschehen.

Wir lehnen jede Haftung ab. Deshalb wird dem Mieter empfohlen, eine Haftpflichtversicherung abzuschliessen.

Die Bezahlung und auch eine kleine Einführung findet bei der Schlüsselübergabe vor Ort statt. Es werden alle gängigen Karten akzeptiert, jedoch ist auch TWINT oder Barzahlung möglich.

Beachte, dass dienstags und donnerstags im Semester sowie während der ETH-Prüfungssession das LochNess nicht gemietet werden kann. Sonntagabends, Montagabends, Dienstagabends und Mittwochabends werden Events durch die ETH-Bewilligungsstelle bis um 24.000 Uhr bewilligt und Donnerstagabends, Freitagabends und Samstagabends bis maximal 02.00 Uhr.

Do you want to throw a party on behalf of your student organisiation or as a private person? Take a look at the rental schedule and see if the LochNess is still available on your desired date. Then contact our rental managers and clarify everything else with them.

The LochNess offers the possibility to organize different events like parties, aperitifs, movie nights, concerts and a whole range of other events.

The most important condition is that you are in some way connected with ETH (student, employee, alumni or member).

The whole fun costs you only 350-500 CHF. This depends on whether you also need a TAB or not. Just as with the other event rooms at ETH, depending on the size & duration of your event, a technical-administrative supervisor with appropriate training must supervise your event. This TAB controls that the noise emission remains within a certain range and reports possible damage to property professionally to the appropriate authorities.

The TAB training takes place on selected evenings at the beginning of each semester and lasts 30-45 minutes. The focus is on the handling of the music equipment as well as the documentation of property damage. The aim is to keep noise emissions low and to guarantee clear communication between the parties involved in the event of damage to property. In principle, anyone can take this training, but we recommend, especially for professional clubs, to send their cultis or activity managers there, because the costs of the TAB have to be paid completely by the tenant. You can use the rental calculator to determine what your financial outlay will be for the rental. The wage costs for the TAB are a flat rate of 50CHF and after 24.00 another 25CHF/hour, remember that these costs must also be borne by the renter if no own TAB can be provided. Also if you want to book additional equipment like beamer, microphone or beer pong tables, you can specify this there. Please indicate directly when contacting the rental board what you need. We can't fulfill any wishes at the local handover. Please note that you have to organize your own food and drinks.

For the premises and especially the whole equipment we collect a deposit of 150 CHF at the handover. If at the end of the evening everything is still available and in working order, you will of course get it back. For additional equipment the deposit may increase. Please also note that in case of noise complaints from ETH, we are not obliged to refund the deposit in full. The deposit will be refunded via IBAN within 3 weeks after your event. Unfortunately, this cannot be done directly when you return the keys.

We decline any liability. Therefore, the renter is advised to take out liability insurance.

The payment and also a small introduction will take place at the key handover on site. All major cards are accepted, but TWINT or cash payment is also possible.

Please note that LochNess cannot be rented on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the semester and during the ETH exam session.
